The first ever event for Dinah’s socially targeted start-up business, Mothers of Men (MOM), was a complete sell-out and a resounding success, attracting attendees in their from across London to benefit from the wisdom, knowledge and experience shared at the event.
Such an epic achievement would not have been conceivable just one-year earlier.
A single mother, Dinah had joined us feeling downcast and alone. She needed motivation and support to get her energy back and make the changes she wanted to make in her life. Dinah quickly made friends with other single mothers on the programme. She learned the importance of networking and of asking for help.
Dinah’s confidence grew and grew. Before long, Dinah was entering our Ladies’ Den Business Pitch Competition, with the aim of launching her own stellar initiative, aimed at supporting single mothers with sons via mentoring counselling and workshops. Her pitch was successful which enabled the creation of her first event in. We’re so excited to see what comes next.
